Our Services
While we are known for engine reconditioning, we have a team of qualified mechanics and engineers available for a range of services. Below are some examples, if your task is along the lines of those mentioned but not in the list, chances are we can do it. We work on Cars, Bikes and Marine engines.

Even prior to opening the doors of North Shore Engine Reconditioners in 1983, Wayne was busy doing what he loved, tinkering with engines. His knowledge around all things motor related is second to few and he is supported  by a strong team of equally talented workers. When it comes to combined experience within a workshop, you will be hard pressed to beat our team.

Accurate Timeframes

Our wealth of mechanical experience means we have a fair idea how long it takes for a wide variety of jobs. For smaller jobs we provide a pickup time for you to return, for larger jobs we provide an expected dated and keep you in the loop along the way.

Reconditioning Experts

We have the machinery and skills in house to provide a large range of specialised services that many workshops can’t. We have been reconditioning engines since the 80’s. We are available for engine reconditioning work for Cars, Bikes or Marine engines. We also have a large amount of experience in classic car restoration and high performance race spec engines.

Free Quotes

We provide free and no obligation quotes for any service we offer, including engine reconditioning. Often we will be able to give you a rough idea of price over the phone if it is a simple task. For bigger projects we may need to get the engine/vehicle down to our workshop to really work out what the issues are. We really have seen and fixed a wide variety of engines which allows us to quote accurately.
